Facilitation

I have been facilitating workshops for almost two decades. Along with facilitating, I am adjunct faculty at Adler University and City University, and an instructor at Vancouver Community College, teaching courses in their counselling programs. Courses I have taught include: Basic Counselling Skills; Group Counselling; Diversity, Inclusion, and Counselling; A Youth Perspective in Counselling; Structural and Sociocultural Bases of Health and Dysfunction; Multicultural Counselling for Diverse Populations; and Pre-Practicum Skills Lab.

I create inclusive, safe(r) spaces to invite conversations requiring openness and discomfort. It is important to me that we maintain respectful curiosity promoting insight, awareness, and growth.  I provide workshops or training on the following topics:

  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Gender Based Violence
  • Implementing Ethics into Practice
  • Intersectionality
  • Substance Misuse
  • Team Building and Structuring Safety

I believe in providing practical tools and strategies that you can use immediately after a workshop or training. I can also create a specific training or workshop for you and/or your organisation’s needs.

If you would like more information or want to book a workshop or training session, please contact me directly.
